Barcelona / Delft, October 1, 2025 — Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, a Barcelona-based full-stack quantum computing company, is now an integration partner of IMPAQT UA, the Delft-based cooperative consortium of quantum technology companies. This partnership strengthens European collaboration in building interoperable, scalable, and standards-driven quantum systems to accelerate the time-to-market for end-user solutions.
IMPAQT brings together leading quantum technology innovators in Delft to accelerate progress across the entire value chain. By demonstrating interoperability between components and layers of quantum stack, it seeks to advance towards standardized interfaces and seamless integration. IMPAQT demonstrates how close collaboration can help create a dynamic and competitive European quantum ecosystem.
Qilimanjaro stands out as the only hybrid full-stack company in the group, contributing both its unique European fluxonium-based analog quantum computers and its expertise in integrating the full stack across analog, digital quantum, and classical platforms. Through this dual-technology approach, the company advances a vision that the future of computing will be hybrid to get the biggest benefit from each technology.
Qilimanjaro contributes to the consortium commercial expertise in bringing quantum technologies to real markets and our proven ability to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and industrial adoption. Concretely, this translates into:
- Plataforma SpeQtrum QaaS – providing remote access to hybrid data centers that seamlessly combine analog, digital, and classical computing.
- On-premise modular systems – enabling HPC centers and research institutions to integrate analog and digital QPUs directly into their workflows.
“Joining iMPAQT is a natural step for Qilimanjaro, as we believe collaboration across the quantum value chain is essential to achieving practical, near-term quantum advantage,” said Marta P. Estarellas, CEO of Qilimanjaro. “This partnership allows us to align our work on analog quantum computers and its integration with digital quantum and classical platforms, with a special effort in establishing interoperability and standards that will shape the future of quantum computing.”
Andrea G. Rodríguez, Acting IMPAQT UA Chair of the Governing Board added: “With Qilimanjaro as an integrator partner, IMPAQT takes a step forward into knowing how to align component development with end-user needs. Knowing the market and learning from those who develop but also integrate the technology is key to ensure we have ready, state-of-the-art, off-the-shelf components and advance towards robust European quantum value chains.”
Other members of the group include Qblox, Quantware, Delft Circuits, OrangeQS, Demcon, TNO, Quantum Delta Delft, and FrostByte.
The organization is building an IMPAQT Interoperability Lab for benchmarking new components, testing and validating components with IMPAQT interfaces and finding new business opportunities within the European quantum ecosystem and beyond.
Quant a Qilimanjaro
