The Q-AINA project explores from an applied perspective the current and future synergies between artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing, and how both can interact to drive mutual technological development. This approach will be tested using a use case based on the optimization of Catalan language models developed under the AINA project, promoted by the Government of Catalonia through the Secretariat of Digital Policies and in collaboration with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).
The project brings together four renowned players in the international, national, and regional AI and quantum ecosystems:
Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech (QQT) and Multiverse Computing (MC) as partners, alongside the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and Eurecat (EUT) as subcontractors. All of them share complementary deep tech expertise to demonstrate, through a full-stack approach, the value of AI as a transversal layer in the Catalan quantum ecosystem. Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech (QQT) and Multiverse Computing (MC) are PIMEs.
