Qilimanjaro will be present on 15-16th of December at the annual High Performance Computing and Quantum Computing workshop, organized by CINECA, a consortium of 67 Italian Universities and 13 Institutions, and CNR-IFN, Italian National Research Council-Institute for Photonics and Nanotechnologies.
On 15th of December Qilimanjaro co-founder and chief software architect Artur Garcia will present “An HPC Library for Out-of-Core Quantum Computing Simulation” in the session “Relationship between QC and HPC in Europe: European Supercomputing Centers”.
On the second day of the workshop, Qilimanjaro senior quantum engineer, Albert Solana, will give an insight into “Bringing quantum capabilities to the HPC centers–QIBO” during the session focused on “Quantum Hardware and Software Providers I”.
This is the fourth edition of the annual High Performance Computing and Quantum Computing workshop, which will be held fully online this year.
Besides the annual objective of the workshop of bringing together researchers and quantum hardware and software manufacturers, this year will bring the vision of the most influential European supercomputing centers, Barcelona Supercomputing Center being one of them and represented by Artur Garcia, also co-founder of Qilimanjaro.
The High Performance Computing and Quantum Computing workshop represents an initiative that offers both the platform to present different visions in the field of quantum computing and the opportunity to envision the collaborations between supercomputers and quantum computers in building the quantum advantage.
