Ser\u00e0 <strong>instal\u00b7lat al Barcelona Supercomputing Center \u2013 Centre Nacional de Supercomputaci\u00f3<\/strong> (BSC-CNS).<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El desenvolupament d'aquesta nova infraestructura forma part de la iniciativa Quantum Spain de 22 M\u20ac, impulsada pel Ministeri d'Assumptes Econ\u00f2mics i Transformaci\u00f3 Digital a trav\u00e9s de la Secretaria d'Estat de Digitalitzaci\u00f3 i Intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia Artificial (SEDIA) i coordinada pel BSC. La iniciativa, finan\u00e7ada amb fons Next Generation del Pla de Recuperaci\u00f3 per a Europa de la Comissi\u00f3 Europea, s'emmarca en el programa Espanya Digital 2026 i l'Estrat\u00e8gia Nacional d'Intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia Artificial (ENIA).<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El primer ordinador qu\u00e0ntic espanyol estar\u00e0 basat \u00edntegrament en tecnologia espanyola i europea i s'instal\u00b7lar\u00e0 al BSC el 2023. Per al projecte, Qilimanjaro i GMV s'associen amb empreses tecnol\u00f2giques europees de primer nivell. <strong>Qilimanjaro calibrar\u00e0 i instal\u00b7lar\u00e0 unitats de processament qu\u00e0ntic basades en portes de IQM Quantum Computers i QuantWare<\/strong>. El programari de control de qubits i d'acc\u00e9s al n\u00favol d'aquest ordinador qu\u00e0ntic tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s desenvolupat per Qilimanjaro amb codi obert <strong>Pila Qibo<\/strong>. L'UTE aprofita l'expertesa i la tecnologia de les startups qu\u00e0ntiques europees <strong>Qblox, Delft Circuits, Silent Waves, Leiden Cryogenics, Connecta i Rohde&amp;Schwartz<\/strong>, per tal de proporcionar elements complementaris clau per a la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 qu\u00e0ntica. <strong>GMV proporciona tots els elements convencionals de servidor i xarxa necessaris per gestionar l'ordinador qu\u00e0ntic<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El nou ordinador qu\u00e0ntic de 30 qubits s'integrar\u00e0 al nou superordinador MareNostrum 5, que s'est\u00e0 instal\u00b7lant actualment i estar\u00e0 operatiu a finals d'any. Aquesta integraci\u00f3 tindr\u00e0 el potencial d'incrementar significativament l'impacte de la recerca i la innovaci\u00f3 en possibilitar solucions que complementen les capacitats dels superordinadors existents. La nova infraestructura estar\u00e0 a disposici\u00f3 de la comunitat investigadora, empreses i organismes p\u00fablics, refor\u00e7ant aix\u00ed el desenvolupament tecnol\u00f2gic i industrial a Espanya i la creaci\u00f3 de llocs de treball altament qualificats.<\/span><\/p><blockquote><p><strong>\u201cL'ordinador qu\u00e0ntic que proporcionem al projecte Quantum Spain ens permet estendre les capacitats computacionals de la Xarxa Espanyola de Supercomputaci\u00f3 al nou paradigma de la computaci\u00f3 qu\u00e0ntica, constituint un exemple pioner a Europa d'un equipament avan\u00e7at h\u00edbrid de supercomputaci\u00f3 i computaci\u00f3 qu\u00e0ntica. Estem orgullosos d'implementar aquest sistema innovador basat purament en tecnologia espanyola i europea, i esperem que ens posicioni a nivell cient\u00edfic, tecnol\u00f2gic i empresarial a l'avantguarda internacional en aquest camp emergent amb un clar potencial disruptiu\u201d, va afirmar V\u00edctor Canivell, cofundador de Qilimanjaro.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El primer xip qu\u00e0ntic estar\u00e0 disponible en el segon trimestre de 2023 a les instal\u00b7lacions de Qilimanjaro, mentre que la nova infraestructura de computaci\u00f3 qu\u00e0ntica s'espera que s'instal\u00b7li al BSC en el tercer trimestre de 2023 per complementar el nou MareNostrum 5.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qilimanjaro va ser seleccionat el 2022 per StartUs Insights com una de les cinc empreses emergents a nivell mundial amb potencial per influir en la ind\u00fastria de la computaci\u00f3 qu\u00e0ntica. M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de l'actual projecte Quantum Spain, l'objectiu de Qilimanjaro \u00e9s desenvolupar la propera generaci\u00f3 d'ordinadors qu\u00e0ntics superconductors de qubit de flux amb acc\u00e9s f\u00e0cil al n\u00favol per abordar efica\u00e7ment problemes complexos d'optimitzaci\u00f3 en sectors com la log\u00edstica, les finances i l'energia, entre d'altres, aix\u00ed com la simulaci\u00f3 de processos f\u00edsics i qu\u00edmics, molt presents en les ind\u00fastries farmac\u00e8utica i de recerca de materials. Per donar suport al desenvolupament d'aquest futur ordinador qu\u00e0ntic superconductor de qubit de flux anal\u00f2gic, Qilimanjaro va rebre una subvenci\u00f3 del Consell Europeu de la Innovaci\u00f3 (EIC) de 2,5 M\u20ac a principis del 2023. Tot aix\u00f2 es fa amb una estreta col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb centres de recerca de primer nivell, com ara el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifae.es\"><strong>Institut de F\u00edsica d'Altes Energies (IFAE)<\/strong><\/a>, on s'hi desenvolupen els components b\u00e0sics per a la tecnologia qu\u00e0ntica per a Qilimanjaro.<\/span><\/p><blockquote><p><strong>\u201cPer a l'empresa conjunta formada per Qilimanjaro i GMV, la construcci\u00f3 i posada en marxa de les dues unitats de l'ordinador qu\u00e0ntic que instal\u00b7larem al BSC \u00e9s un repte tecnol\u00f2gic de primer ordre, que afrontem amb el comprom\u00eds que aquest projecte sigui un \u00e8xit absolut i proporcioni la plataforma adequada per impulsar de manera decisiva el desenvolupament de la computaci\u00f3 qu\u00e0ntica a Espanya\u201d, afirma Manel Martinez, l\u00edder t\u00e8cnic de l'empresa conjunta.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GMV \u00e9s un grup tecnol\u00f2gic espanyol fundat el 1984, de capital privat i amb una important pres\u00e8ncia internacional, amb una plantilla de 3.000 professionals en 12 pa\u00efsos. L&#x27;estrat\u00e8gia de creixement de l&#x27;empresa es basa en la innovaci\u00f3 cont\u00ednua, i destina el 51 % de la seva facturaci\u00f3 a R+D+i.
