Concretament, es proposa superar dues limitacions clau: les restriccions inherents a les arquitectures planes i les complexitats associades al control dels dispositius. Per aconseguir-ho, planteja un enfocament innovador que abasta totes les etapes del proc\u00e9s, des del disseny i la fabricaci\u00f3 fins a la prova i el control dels xips. Aquest enfocament representa un aven\u00e7 significatiu en el coneixement cient\u00edfic i tecnol\u00f2gic, i marca un pas crucial cap a la industrialitzaci\u00f3 dels processadors qu\u00e0ntics per a aplicacions pr\u00e0ctiques.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-60975a09 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"60975a09\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Els ordinadors qu\u00e0ntics anal\u00f2gics s\u00f3n una de les vies m\u00e9s prometedores a curt termini per abordar problemes que les m\u00e0quines cl\u00e0ssiques no poden gestionar de manera eficient, des de la simulaci\u00f3 fins a l'optimitzaci\u00f3 complexa. Escalar a m\u00e9s qubits \u00e9s el repte central per a tota tecnologia qu\u00e0ntica, i els processadors anal\u00f2gics no s\u00f3n una excepci\u00f3. A Qilimanjaro constru\u00efm aquests sistemes \"full-stack\", basats en qubits fluxonium, i IPQUANTICS \u00e9s el nostre treball en aquest pas.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-97bbbe7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"97bbbe7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><b>El problema d'escalabilitat<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'escalat \u00e9s dif\u00edcil en la computaci\u00f3 qu\u00e0ntica, i en els processadors anal\u00f2gics pren una forma espec\u00edfica. els qubits estan fortament acoblats entre ells, cosa que fa dif\u00edcil controlar cadascun per separat. Aconseguir aix\u00f2 correctament requereix una comprensi\u00f3 profunda del sistema, que vam construir a trav\u00e9s de dissenys planars. A m\u00e9s, cada qubit necessita diversos botons de control, de manera que moltes l\u00ednies de control han de passar per tot el xip. Aix\u00f2 fa que l'encaminament sigui dif\u00edcil i augmenta molt la interfer\u00e8ncia i la diafonia entre les l\u00ednies. La tecnologia flip-chip mitiga tots dos problemes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IPQUANTICS va treballar en tot el proc\u00e9s: disseny, fabricaci\u00f3, proves i control.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f17e742 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f17e742\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><b>El que vam construir<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IPQUANTICS es va dirigir cap al seg\u00fcent pas en el recompte de qubits. Vam treballar en dissenys plans i flip-chip, juntament amb la ruta de fabricaci\u00f3 i el maquinari de control.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hem dissenyat cel\u00b7les unit\u00e0 multicapa per als nostres xips fluxonium, tant en versi\u00f3 planar com en flip-chip. El flip-chip apila circuits en tres dimensions en lloc d'una sola. S'utilitza en altres llocs de semiconductors, tot i que aplicar-lo a xips qu\u00e0ntics anal\u00f2gics \u00e9s un problema diferent. Un cop una cel\u00b7la funciona, es pot replicar en xips m\u00e9s grans que escalen de manera fiable.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vam portar aquests dissenys a fabricaci\u00f3 i els vam mesurar en condicions operatives reals, a temperatures criog\u00e8niques, properes al zero absolut.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hem constru\u00eft la nostra pr\u00f2pia electr\u00f2nica de control basada en FPGA per gestionar el major nombre de l\u00ednies de control que requereix l'escalabilitat. Aquesta \u00e9s la nostra pr\u00f2pia tecnologia i propietat intel\u00b7lectual, no una adaptaci\u00f3 d'eines digitals. \u00c9s un prototip de recerca, encara lluny de la producci\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9609a08 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9609a08\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><strong>Encaixant en el pla de Qilimanjaro<\/strong><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qilimanjaro construeix i comercialitza ordinadors qu\u00e0ntics anal\u00f2gics de pila completa, des del xip fins al programari i les aplicacions. La venda d'aquests sistemes dep\u00e8n de la seva escalabilitat a m\u00e9s qubits, que \u00e9s el problema que IPQUANTICS es va proposar resoldre. El projecte va produir alguns dels m\u00e8todes de disseny, l'electr\u00f2nica de control i la propietat intel\u00b7lectual darrere de les properes versions comercials dels nostres QPU.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El projecte tamb\u00e9 s'ajusta al seu finan\u00e7ador. IPQUANTICS se situa en el segment de \u201cdisseny i desenvolupament de xips i nuclis IP\u201d del programa espanyol de microelectr\u00f2nica i semiconductors, finan\u00e7at pel Ministeri d'Ind\u00fastria i Turisme a trav\u00e9s del Pla de Recuperaci\u00f3, Transformaci\u00f3 i Resili\u00e8ncia. La feina s'afegeix a la cadena de valor dels xips d'Europa i a la seva capacitat per construir aquesta tecnologia a casa.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IPQUANTICS va funcionar de gener de 2025 a juny de 2026, establint un proc\u00e9s complet i reproducible per dissenyar, construir i provar processadors qu\u00e0ntics anal\u00f2gics
