Qilimanjaro Receives €1.5M in Funding through Avançsa

The Government of Catalonia, via Avançsa and the Innova Creixement Line, has signed a funding agreement with Qilimanjaro

In a year marked by significant growth, Qilimanjaro is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Catalan Government via Avançsa, involving a funding operation of €1.5 million. This collaboration brings our innovative quantum computing company into the Innova Creixement Line, reinforcing Avançsa’s commitment to the deep tech sector, which is vital for the Catalan economy. As stated by Clàudia Canals Pérez, Director of Avançsa:

“The Administration must play a key role in the leap to quantum technology, supporting initiatives developed in our research centers. Investing in disruptive technologies that are crucial for industrial transformation should be central to public policies.”

Qilimanjaro is building the first quantum data center in the heart of Barcelona, aiming to provide widespread access to their full-stack quantum computing solutions based on the unique analog QASICs architecture and the Quantum as a Service (QaaS) model. This initiative seeks to democratize this groundbreaking technology, ensuring users can access it and fostering innovative applications within the industry. Marta Estarellas, Chief Executive Officer of Qilimanjaro, remarked:

“With this operation, we join forces with the Catalan Government to push forward the creation of a strong quantum ecosystem, bridging the public sector with start-ups like ours to harness the full potential of quantum computing for the Catalan society.”
